in my opinion brunch is the most important meal of the week.
as a longtime bruncher in TO i have rated the following based on what i call the jackson scale (ABC, 1-2-3)

DAKOTA TAVERN

ok food, but you don't go for the food. the sunday bluegrass brunch is a toronto staple. not subject to the ratings chart. just a GO.

LAKEVIEW

24 hour. extensive menu. including deep fried mars bars. hangover and life sympathetic staff. not great for groups over 5 or 6ppl

SAVING GRACE

expect to lineup. expect the experience to be worth the wait.

EZRAS POUND

simple menu, small portions. great coffee and clean feel.

CZEHOSKI

yummiest local organic eggs and beautiful rooftop brunching in the summer. not cheap or fast.
